Cybertruck guy shot himself in the head right before the car blew up. If his goal was to kill people he could've waited till a valet approached the car or simply driven that thing straight into the lobby. Seems more like an attention-grabbing suicide by a guy who didn't like Trump/Elon.

Maybe. I heard that the cybertruck was so well made that it contained the blast. Probably just another Elon Musk marketing ploy.

Wife breaks up with him (second wife, btw) and a week later he kills himself. He may have chosen the cybertruck knowing it would mostly contain the blast. It was a pretty amateurish bomb. Just fireworks and a few cans of gasoline from what I remember.
