I am not for more government control. I am for getting information to the people on these harmful food additives and preservatives. Let the market decide....
If some toothless fat mama in Cleveland wants to ingest Yellow #5 I just consider that to be thinning the herd...
Assad claims he wanted to keep fighting but the Russians evacuated him. This is an easy exit from Syria for Putin. Russia has invested considerable economic and militarily support for the Assad regime. He'll redirect most of that to his war with Ukraine. It appears uncertain what sort of relationship will develop between Syrian rebel groups and Russia. Same with the US. Both countries have deployed forces in Syria.
The fall of Assad has damaged Hamas and Hezbollah as well as Iran. Iran that has supported these two terrorist organization, no longer has free passage of military supplies through Syria. As well, Israel is expanding it's military control of at least the Golan and my guess is they will create a land buffer between Israel and Syria as well as Lebanon.
All-in all, the fall of Assad combined with the pressures brought about on Israel's historic enemies by Israeli military operations in both Gaza and Israel's northern boarders is a huge defeat for Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah. All three combined had considerable political and military clout throughout the ME. All three carried the goal of eliminating Israel. SO much for that political and military objective - for now. How all of this will change the geopolitics of the region is yet TBD. So is how Syrian rebels that ousted Assad will actually govern. Hopefully a pragmatic and moderate Islamic state, one that accommodates a large Christian minority, will emerge but that is not assured.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
In other news, after Trump humiliated Justin Trudeau last week, the Canadian Prime Minister might actually resign. LOL. Their finance chief resigned yesterday and now it sounds like he might be on his way out too.

Suing for "election interference" because someone published a poll that showed your opponent winning is much more asinine than the defamation claim. He'll lose and it might not even reach the discovery phase, but the message will be sent.
I don't know why people still get excited about that kind of stuff. It's like complaining about cold air in January. Nobody really likes it but whining about it all the time will only make you miserable.
Seems to me a settlement like that means that the defendant didn't want to go to trial, because they'd stand to lose even more.
ABC/Disney is not a bastion of truth.

I was thinking this morning how Democrats have labeled Republicans as "dangerous" to democracy. Yet, Dems are the ones most vocal about changing the Constitution to their own beliefs.
For instance:
Packing the Supreme Court - Democrat proposal. Not only do they want to pack the Court, but they want to be sure they can always have the political majority.
Eliminate the Electoral College: This is still a thing among the Democratic Party. They want only the popular vote to count, so that the elite leftists can rule ffrom large cities and the coasts, rather than pay any attention to flyover America where the real people live. It wouldn't have mattered in the last two elections, but I guess this one that still stings for Hillary.
Finally, I guess Kamala still thinks she can win. She's going to be a player for the '28 Dem nomination. The woman hasn't won anything on a national leve. Not a single primary. But yet, she still thinks she can win it all.
I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle
