I don't have a good explanation for the stock market the past 12 years or so. Going back 12 years, the NASDAQ has averaged (geometrically) an 18% return. During a period where economic growth has been meh. It's virtually impossible to come up with an explanation for this that doesn't involve the stock market being a bubble of some kind. But I was thinking that back when it was 10,000. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The NASDAQ and S&P 500 have both effectively doubled over the past 5 years. The DOW hasn't been quite THAT good but still up over 50%
