All I can say is: Thank God Kaitlin Collins is on the case.
You bought the ticket. Now enjoy the ride.
I'm sure he's just "bluffing" and will get Canada to do some utterly substance free announcement that he can paint as total victory. Or maybe not and he means it.
Boris has been with him pretty much from the start so it's hard to see him cast out completely. But maybe no longer involved in any staffing decisions.
I don't seriously think he's going to slap 25% tariffs on everything coming in from Canada and Mexico. And so far, I've been enjoying the ride quite fine. The meltdowns and gnashing of teeth entertain me.
Mexico said it would slap tit-for-tat tariffs on the US, while China said Trump's finger-pointing "runs completely counter to facts".
Ford, the leader of Canada's most populous province, said the proposed tariff would be "devastating to workers and jobs in both Canada and the US".
He called on the government to "take the situation at our border seriously", and for Trudeau to "call an urgent meeting with all premiers".
Robert Garcia, a border official covering the US north-east, said last month that more than 19,000 people from 97 different countries had been arrested over the previous 12 months, which was more than "the last 17 fiscal years combined".
In general I do not believe in tariffs...they are just a tax by a different name. I do find it amusing that Dems who seldom meet a tax they don't like are up in arms over Trump's tariff scare...heh
DSL, the good news is we're only 3 away from the Ds potentially nominating a lucid candidate for 2028. In fact "Lucid Candidate in '28!" could be their slogan going forward.
Right now their list is sooooo impressive...Gavin the Socialist Commie from Cali...Gretchen the wicked witch of the North (how have the last two female saviors fared?)...and Kamala the loser...
If they had any brains or balls they would get Shapiro...but he's an evil Jew boy...
