    Often not better… some exceptions…
’Aliens’, ‘Dune: Part 2’, ‘T2: Judgement Day’, ‘The Dark Knight’, ‘The Empire Strikes Back’, the 3rd Harry Potter movie, and ‘Logan.’

    I’m sure ‘Gladiator 2’ will be something…

        • The Kamala thing is something PoliSci people will study for centuries.

Doddering Joe had to pull out, but everyone, even the staunchest dem supporters knew that Harris wasn’t a good choice, but they felt their hands were tied. You pass over a “black” female veep as the nominee and you face charges of being racist, sexist, whatever and so you go with it, double down on the legal stuff against Trump, and act like Harris had nothing to do with Biden while trying your best to pretend that she was an acceptable candidate.

And this is why we ended up choosing between Scylla and Charybdis.

          • Mike:

I'd guess Dolan or Husted. The latter is Lt Gov and is unlikely to beat the AG (Yost) in the R Primary for Gov. I think DeWine sends him to DC to spare him.

            • For Ohio… Give me Kirk Herbstreit or the owner of Jungle Jim’s in Cincinnati.

I love ‘The Lost World: Jurassic Park.’ Saw it at the right age where nostalgia helps out. It gets a bad rap due to obviously not being as perfect as the original. Also, Spielberg directed it in between ‘Schindler’s List’ and ‘Saving Private Ryan.’ … Surely that would tell you that there’s some Spielberg mastery in it from a director’s standpoint.

              • In all seriousness I don't know what Trump will actually accomplish between the tariffs and mass deportations but considering those are two of his only sincere beliefs, he'll probably do what he can. And when the result is Great Value chicken nuggets cost 60% more, I look forward to videos of patriots shooting at bags with their AK-15s in the backyard.

                • They had to reject Harris. The Chairman made it almost impossible -- aided by an absolutely complacent, friendly Press and Party. But even when it was almost impossible, they had to find a way to make it possible.

Correct, but they went the easy way to avoid memes and sound bytes.

                      I blame DSL for this.

Correct. He chose her because she checked some demographic boxes to get him elected and then felt he (or his handlers) had to hand the baton to her when he couldn’t hide his mental decline.

You voted for Trump, you own him. Don't blame the Dems for forcing your hand or any other responsibility-dodging bullshit. You knew what you were buying and you wanted so, so much more of it. Some people just want to watch the world burn. Sicko.

You’re forgetting that campaign promises are almost always 100% fiction. The public doesn’t hold any politician accountable. For example, Biden was still blaming Trump for not being able to act on some of his promises as late as June of this year.

She still somehow came close to winning. People who think Shapiro easily wins? I'm not very confident of that. He was probably wise to hold off to 2028 when either of the two stinkburgers was wildly unpopular.

I believe him on tariffs and deportations. Like I said.

Business leaders at places like Tyson Foods will plead with him to not deport half their employees. For, let's say, a nice business investment in the Trump Org he'll look the other way. I can see that happening. For my friends, everything; for my enemies, the law.
