    • They’re whining about a lot of polls now. Whine, bitch, moan. No one better at it!

                • The 538 prediction model still has Trump 53-47 over Harris but I don't buy it. He'll need to pull both NC and PA to win.

                  • I've stopped writing reports here on the tactical situation on the ground in the two prominent "forever wars" in Ukraine and the ME. That's because both are essentially slogs with what in the opinion of many are military operations with ill-defined or unachievable tactical and strategic endpoints. The link below is recent article in the "Foreign Affairs" magazine that effectively contextualizes these two wars and offers how the US should deal with a 21st century axis of powers similar to the axis powers that formed a union in the 1930s that led to WWII, 1939 to 1945. It's a great read that makes a clear case for getting China and Xi to understand it is attaching itself to an "axis of losers." Such relationships are antithetical to China's national and strategic interests of becoming THE global leader if such a movement occurs that replaces or modifies the current US led world order.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                    • Big last minute movement in the Ohio Senate race. 538 now has it "even" with Brown clinging to a 0.3% lead in their poll. A Hill/Emerson poll just came in with Moreno +3 which has tipped the RCP average in his favor. That would be a crazy unexpected pick up for the Rs.

                            • Detroit has already counted almost all of its 100k absentee ballots. I’m reading a lot of other places around the state will be the same. So in Michigan and PA it’s quite possible that Harris will get out to a big lead with Trump slowly catching up. The opposite of how it was in most swing states last time.
