Storm blew by last night. Had sustained of 50 kts and gusts to 80 and we were 200 miles from the eye of the storm. We came through ok. Some limbs down and a mess in the yard but no damage to the house (s).

Power went out about 1 am and I don't expect they will have it up any time soon, but we were really lucky.

I can't imagine what the Big Bend looks like.

This was one bad Mofo.

We're good, Liney. Just waiting for power now. I think it is going to be a while. The worst part for us is that with no power on the island the sewer lift stations aren't working so even though we have water, we can't use the toilets or sinks or it will back up into the garage.

A minor inconvenience in the big scheme of things for sure.
