Is your preference 1900, 1890, or 1875, liney? 1890 is showing a bit too much leg if you ask me (the two hussies on the left should be ashamed of themselves. Orphans, no doubt)

As men, we are not to objectify women. As far as I can tell, that means we're not supposed to see just their tits, asses or whatever body part is you body part du jour. This is a big deal for the #MeToo movement among other women's lib sorts of organizations.
This is hard. Among millions of years shaping male/female behavior, especially involving mating and procreation of the species, here in the west, women dress and behave in provocative ways then expect the opposite sex not to take notice. Not to objectify their tits and assess. Demeaning the opposite sex by women who pull out the misogyny flag whenever they feel like they're being ogled, and get offended by that, are jousting with the windmills of male/female behavior since creation began. Liney, post that and see what kind of reaction you get from those females harassing you ...... you haven't seen anything yet, buddy.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

All you girl dads in here (you dads that have girls) what do you think? I know what Jeff thinks, but am I off base here? I don't understand why the female volleyball players have to play in such skimpy "uniforms". Could they not compete at a high level with more clothes on? I mean, why not at least a tank top and shorts? Am I so far out of step that I don't "get it"? I see nothing wrong with just a touch more modesty.

Well, let me chime in as a Dad that has 3 lovely daughters and 4 stunning granddaughters who are either tweens or already HS grads moving on to college. Our rules for three daughters who were, IMO, stunners from the git-go at the point where boys started looking at them, were dress as you like but be aware of what you choose to wear has the potential of attracting unwanted male behavior. Tone it down. My ex was the one who laid down the law when it came to dressing to the point of sending them huffing and puffing back to their rooms to change. Rule#2: Don't drink at parties. Guaranteed you'll forget about Rule #1. Most of all we loved and supported them, having open comms with us where they felt comfortable telling us stuff that is usually hard for teens to admit and tell their parents about.
My oldest daughter with the two gorgeous girls now 15 and 18 has raised both of them in much the same way as her mother and I did with her. You have choices. Make good ones and seek the good counsel engaged parents can provide in doing that.
IMO, young girls get turned off by being told what to wear and not wear when it comes to dressing modestly.... or not. In being that way they'll often rebel and wear something way provocative. TBF the slinky swim or gymnastics wear has functional qualities, esp. Olympic swim apparel. These gals are wearing highly engineered fabrics to reduce drag. Gymnasts want nothing to get caught on the apparatus they're performing on. So, yes, Liney, I'd say you're out of step with the mainstream when it comes to athletic apparel and otherwise ....... now, you're not with Evangelicals and I respect that POV.

I'm disgusted by it liney...and yes I'm about your age...but it's so funny how the left vilifies the conservatives but when women are abused or sexualized or minimized in sports with the transgender bullshit they are silent...hell they can't even tell you what a woman is. Four of my daughters were abused by men in their lives and I'm lucky I was never thrown in jail when the abuses happened so yes I'm very sensitive to women being sexualized or minimized. One of my daughters was almost killed by her boyfriend...thrown down a set of stairs...thankfully the guy was arrested and prisoned for it...now she's married with two beautiful kids...long story but yes I'm disgusted by what I see in today's world with regards to the treatment of women...and the left seem to ignore what is happening.
End of rant.
Liney:
hello
Shut the fuck up Donny!

As a devoutly religious guy let me say this: I’m pretty sure god put women here for us to look at. He wants us to spill our seed to and fro and be fruitful and multiply.
Trust me. I took an undergrad bible studies course. The prof said he would give me an A if I would agree to never take one of his classes again (true story).
