  • It was a total nonsense, political opinion.

Anywho, this weekend's polling for The Chairman is horrific. HORRIFIC.

I'd honestly jettison the senile jackwagon if I were the Ds. Force him to step aside. The Rs can't do that with DJT, but maybe there's at least a 5% chance The Chairman is persuadable. I mean, if you REALLY think "democracy is at stake" (we know you don't) -- but if you REALLY think that, then you cannot run this assclown.

    • I remember back when The Media said it was "ageist" or some sort of grave misjustice/right-wing conspiracy to say The Chairman was too old.

Now, 61% of BIDEN VOTERS say he's too old.

As Geraghty puts it, never has a party ever lost a high-stakes argument more definitively.

      • And 20% of GOP primary voters (in the first 3 primary states) say they won't vote for Trump. I think we're heading to historically low voter turnout this November. I can't even venture a guess as to how Trump's imminent felony convictions will affect his candidacy. Such an absurd sentence to type.

        • Well, to borrow a phrase from The Talent -- "The worst fucking election in this history of fucking free fucking elections."

          • Unanimous decision in the judgment (Colorado can't remove Trump from the ballot) but the 3 libs + Barrett noting mild objections to the scope of the explanation.

              • The best thing about the ruling is that the US Congress sets the rules for federal elections. States may hold state elections any way they want.

The next step is for Congress to pass a law requiring voter ID cards showing citizenship and age for use in federal elections. At least then the massive number of "newcomers" (the newest word for illegal immigrants) won't affect national elections. That would be huge.

There is no way Republicans will have the stones to do this.

                • Yeah, they all agree that States have no ability to enforce Section 3. And that's so obviously correct it almost needs no explanation. The disagreement is that the majority spells out how the Federal government can deal with Section 3 and the dissenters basically want no of that -- no need to speak on it if it's not needed to resolve the case.

I really couldn't see how anyone could credibly say it was anything other than an unanimous rebuke of obviously politically motivated court.

Dems will still turn out for abortion. Big time. There are millions of fanatical single women whose political allegiance revolves entirely around consequence-free orgasms.

Not a huge surprise. There will be setbacks. Gotta keep pushing though. We didn’t get here overnight and we won’t get out of here overnight either.

                          Or put somewhat differently....

Millions of women don't want to have their sex lives regulated by unappealing, overweight, bitter, middle-aged to elderly whiny men. The idea that sex MUST have negative consequences is one of your least appealing beliefs and thankfully, society strongly disagrees with you. But hey I love that you exist because it makes it all the easier to portray the American Right as woman-hating, incel weirdos.

Win some lose some... More from the hero we don't deserve.

The University of Florida on Friday closed its diversity department, fired all of its DEI staff, and canceled DEI contracts with outside vendors to comply with a Florida Board of Governor’s regulation that prohibits funding of such programs.

As a result of the policy, the college shut down the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer and eliminated DEI positions and administrative appointments.

The job training portion of the Bill is obvious viewpoint discrimination. The State can't allow mandatory anti-DEI meetings but ban mandatory pro-DEI meetings.
