Geezer, you asked if I thought Israel would act to take out in country facilities that are involved in producing Iranian nuclear weapons?

Generally, nuclear warfare issues are treated separately from conventional warfare issues. So, it's important to separate the current conflict between Hamas and the IDF from nuclear questions with regard to the status of Iran's nuclear capabilities and the likelihood Iran might direct their use. Right now, there is adequate deterrence for Iran to use nukes. Certainly they'd like to join the club of nuclear capable countries and Israel would like to prevent that from happening. They've done so in the past by direct attacks against Iran's enrichment capabilities.

I don't think there is a likelihood of a nuclear exchange in the ME nor do I think there is reason for Israel to open that door by attacking Iranian enrichment facilities.

I doubt that Israel would have to resort to nukes to get at Iran's nuke facilities. I believe they have non-nuclear cruise missiles with bunker busting capabilities that could do the job nicely.
