Another history lesson. Hamas was supported the Israeli government back in 2006 (I think that was the last time Gaza had elections). The Israeli thought the worse threat was Fatah (who controls the West Bank today). A year later, Hamas attacked Israel (shocking I know) and put a blockade (with Egypt doing one as well) that has stayed to this day. Let's us not pretend Israel is pure snow in regards to Palestinians.

Strange that you would use that as a point to somewhat downplay the mass murder of 1,400 Jews. Yeah, yeah, Israel preferred Hamas over Fatah... so they kind of had it coming.

Then the real question will be what do with the Palestinians. No Arab country is going to take them in. There is going to be no two state solution. Could there be a path to being a citizen of Israeli with full civil and political rights?

How are you supposed to negotiate with a partner who adopted the Khartoum Resolution in 1967 (and to this day) that states: "No peace with Israel. No negotiation with Israel. No recognition of Israel.

When the British mandate expired and Israel formally became a country, they included in their constitution that Arabs are welcome in their land and would be granted full and equal rights. They preferred to live harmoniously with their neighbors. They were attacked by all surrounding Arab states THE NEXT FUCKING DAY.

20% of present day Israel is Arab/Muslim. There is no persecution of them. There is no apartheid. The live together in a multicultural society.

There is only one side that doesn't want peace. ONE. It ain't Israel.
