These organizations, along with others, formed the basis of a world order following the defeat of the axis powers. That world order has defined the global geopolitical realty since 1945.I don't know if that's what they fought for, but they sure didn't achieve it.
I think how effective they have been in establishing global peace and respect for state sovereignty over the last 20y and esp. more recently, is arguable so, on that, I agree with you.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished.
