Trump is definitely intelligent but at his age, his filter doesn't work and his judgement is terrible. He has a lot of personality issues that he was probably able to keep a lid on when he was 55 because his mind was in much better shape. -
His biggest problem IMHO...has been he surrounds himself with yes men...and fires anyone who differs with him...a tell tale sign of narcissism. His only strong skill set involves marketing.
He was President for 4 years and still has only a rudimentary knowledge of how anything in the Federal govt works. Nor is he interested in or capable of learning at this point.
Psychologically he is a broken human being. A sociopath. Not in the sense that he wants to kill people, just that he cares about no one but himself. He's incapable of caring about others. People exist solely to reflect better upon him. I used to think he had real feelings for his family but don't any longer. They're all expendable except to the degree that it could hurt him politically. If he left politics he and Melania would get divorced and he'd play zero role in Baron's life. He plays close to zero role in any of his grandchildren's lives.Comment

Eh. He probably has a lot of other skills that have helped him along the way. Long before The Apprentice and him having his own brands of ties, etc, he was looked up to and admired. His self control was probably way better 25 years ago.His only strong skill set involves marketing.

Regarding Trump and the documents scandal...DSL...can you explain why Biden's 4 locations that stored classified documents that he had no ability to declassify when he took them...was not raided yet Mar-A-Lago was? How about Hillary? Why was her home not raided when she destroyed 33,000 emails on subpoena?

I don’t have time to go through this all over again but Biden cooperated where Trump defied an actual subpoena. Furthermore his own lawyer will testify against him that he was trying to avoid compliance. Trump’s own lawyer is going to provide testimony that his boss was urging him to hide things even after receiving a federal subpoena. Nothing Biden or Pence did is comparable to that. Neither even had to be subpoenaed!Comment

Reasonable minds can disagree on Hillary. But the facts of the individual cases matters. And in Trump's case, there's very strong evidence he knowingly disobeyed a subpoena. Had he just cooperated the same way Biden and Pence did there'd be no issues and no case.
There's a reason that even reliably rightwing lawyers like Jonathon Turley aren't dying on Trump Hill in this case.Comment
