The results of Issue 1 are going to be interesting. The number of people that have voted early is more than double the number that voted early in last year's contested primaries. The GOP scheduled this vote when they did hoping for low turnout. Now it's looking like they'll need extremely high turnout in rural Ohio to win.

A fair number of retired GOP officials have come out against it, including ex-Governors Taft and Kasich. The guy who successfully got Senate term limits into the constitution came out against. Said he couldn't have done it under the proposed new rules.
