  • You are now cancelled AA. How dare you speak fondly of JIM CROW ON STEROIDS!!!!
    Shut the fuck up Donny!

    • I’m not speaking kindly of it. Despite the devastation to black businesses, Jim Crow laws were abhorrent and needed to end.

        • Senator Carper (DE) retiring. It's safe Dem but like Maryland, the Dems would rather not have to think about it.

Carper, Cardin, Stabenow, and Feinstein all retiring. Manchin, Sinema, Brown, Rosen, and Tester in risky seats. Could be a lot of turnover for the Senate Dems if it ends up being a bad year.

              • DSL in response to your post on the Belgorod incursion. Kiev has denied involvement and taunted the Russians about the two wars the Kremlin is fighting..... one in Ukraine and one in Russia fighting militias made up of Russians living in Russia opposed to Putin's rule and his Special Military Operation in Ukraine...... and there are such people.

I think it's easy to argue this was a Ukrainian GRU Op. There have been several sabotage occurrences inside Russia that were allegedly undertaken by Ukrainian Special Forces ..... at least that's how the Kremlin has characterized them. Kiev has denied involvement but almost always has something cleaver and demeaning targeting Russian law enforcement.

The Kremlin has been very careful to frame all of them, including the most recent Belgorod incursion, as terrorist operations. Putin then launches all kinds of laws and decrees that give local police, the FSB and Rosgavardia unprecedented powers to arrest and detain whomever.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                • In re my post above, the link below is to a short video depicting the loss of freedom of speech that has taken place since Putin sent his tanks to seize Kiev. What surprised me was before Putin ordered the invasion and from inside Russia, the Kremlin permitted reasonably uncensored access to news that was critical of the Russian government. Only recently has access to various social media platforms and tight controls over TV stations not associated with state radio and TV been restricted.

Every time there is an attack of any kind inside Russia it is characterized by the Kremlin as a terrorist operation carried out by Ukrainian Special Forces. This has spawned all kinds of draconian measures to be implemented by decree according to Putin's wishes. Kiev routinely denies involvement with them.

In Today's "incursion" into the Belgorod region of Russia, the Kremlin once again characterized it as a terrorist operation and predictably Kiev denied involvement. In that denial from Ukrainian government spokesmen there was a good amount of taunting about RUssia having to fight two wars, one in Ukraine and one against organized militias operating from inside Russia opposed to the War in Ukraine and Putin's heavy handed rule. Tens of thousands of journalists have fled Russia and taken up with or formed news organizations working to inform the Russian people living inside Russia of the horrors of Putin's war. The video below takes a look at that:

                    • Kind of cool watching a guy who never made the cut or a single dollar on the PGA somehow make it to the final round --get paired with rory mcelroy --get an ace on the fly then make a 10 footer that barely drops in the side pocket to make next years PGA championship

Hopefully Sarah Cromeries case will go the way the covington kids case goes

I guess adam schiff leads the race to get feinstein seat. He says he has proof katie porter his closest challenger colluded with somebody and suposedly there is a peepee tape of her.

I abhor Porter so hopefully she gets blocked. She’ll still be in the House forever tho. What a miserable wretch.

Michael Block, the club pro you referenced, just received a sponsor’s exemption into this week’s Charles Schwab Challenge. IMO, he completely stole the show yesterday.

I'd bet Jeff's next world cruise that the R's will still mess it up.

No way do the R's get StupidNow's seat in Michigan. Pencil in Elissa Slotkin for that seat.

Cally doesn't know how to vote R, so Feinstein's seat is a safe D.

Manchin and Sinema might actually maintain their seats with the help of crossover voters.

Dems ain't losing control of the Senate. R's are too stupid to strategize a way to take those seats.

                              • Yeah Manchin is toast. He'll be up against Big Jim barring a major primary upset.

Not a ton of polls but the ones I've seen so far suggest Sinema running as a 3rd party would actually drain more votes away from the Republican than the Dem (probably Gallego).
