In actual real news, the positioning for the debt-ceiling battle is fairly interesting. In what I would consider a suprirse, McCarthy actually managed to get a bill through that would deal with the issues but also reduces spending. The Chairman, of course, wants none of it. It's either everything he wants or GFY. But some Ds are getting a little nervouse, I think, because so far, the only body to act in any way to do anything about this is the House.
