If you also look at questions #32-34, it's generally popular to be against trans people in women's sports or making "too many" accommodations at school. But question #34 is basically asking if you're cool with politicians attacking families with trans kids in political ads. And it's a resounding no in the response. Which suggests a large majority of voters are uncomfortable with trans people but also have a line where anti-trans laws cross into bullying.

This is a very common dynamic -- Americans feeilng a certain way about a certain issue, but having a negative reaction to somebody who actually proposes doing something about that issue. It affects Republicans quite a bit. It's why courage is such a hugely important trait for an R to be effective.

      • A poll like that would be more useful if it was ranked order. Economic issues will always be the most important but that doesn't mean that other issues aren't also of great concern.

        • With this administration and so many failings...the order really means a lot less. It's not like only one burning issue...plus several of the areas are related.

          • On a scale of excellent, good, only fair, and poor, how would you rate economic conditions today?

            Excellent - 4%
            Good - 17%
            Only fair - 35%
            Poor - 43%
            Don't know - 0%

Everyone knows about the economy and 78% of respondents think it ain't good.

                  • Right Track/Wrong Track poll has been in the toilet for at least a decade now, but nobody seems to want to do what's necessary to change that track. Everyone knows that the country is in trouble, but realistic solutions aren't necessarily popular. It's a frustrating dynamic to watch play out.

Another way to look at it is that only 43% think the economy's bad!!!

So is rooting for a guy who is talking about ethnically diluting his constituents in the middle of a war, where they are fighting and suffering for his benefit.

Anyhow, I'm glad that you're OK with hunreds of billions of dollars ultimately going to a foreign land that we have no legitimate interest in, so that it can soon be remade into a George Soros petri dish state.

It's rare that a majority of Americans since the 80's EVER say the country's on the right track. And then ask the same group how they're doing personally and 2/3 to 3/4 will say they're personally doing ok. Maybe the national media, both liberal and conservative, influence the public to think the country's overall in a much worse spot than the experience they live in their daily lives.

The American people know Joe is a failure...but thanks to their friends in big tech and the media they have convinced the Independents to believe that the alternative is worse.
