Controversial transgender swimmer Lia Thomas slammed her “feminist” adversaries as misogynistic transphobes who reduce women to the value of their reproductive abilities.

The NCAA gold medalist told fellow trans swimmer Schuyler Bailar that her own University of Pennsylvania teammates displayed fraud feministic beliefs when they wrote a 2022 letter asking the division to bar Thomas from competition.

“They’re like, ‘Oh, we respect Lia, as a woman, as a trans woman or whatever, we respect her identity, we just don’t think it’s fair.’ You can’t really have that sort of half-support where you’re like, ‘Oh, I respect her as a woman here, but not here,'” Thomas said in a Monday episode of Bailar’s new podcast “Dear Schuyler.”

8th is not "dead last". He was 8th in the country which qualifies for "All-American" status and kept a biological female from rightfully receiving the recognition. Hormone levels are but one part of the equation. The biggest advantage is that Thomas WENT THROUGH MALE PUBERTY. He's like 6' 3" tall and had already packed on much more muscle mass and bone density than any biological female would. The whole argument is absurd. If the left thinks they are the "party of science", then they need to go back to middle school.

EDIT: And Thomas cruised to victory in the 500M winning the national championship as a 5th year senior who competed as a male the first 4 years.

Progressives are the ones who stage violent protests to intimidate people into compliance.

Progressives would prefer to have unfettered abortion access for any reason at any time in every state.

Progressives are wrong that their proposals would make much of a dent in gun crime and refuse to acknowledge who commits the majority of gun crime.

When Lia transitioned from being a guy to a girl, the requirement with the NCAA was just one year of hormone suppression (it was 36 months with USA Swim), which on the surface sounds great. The issue is that while serum testosterone may be muted with suppressors, the skeletal frame, increased musculature, and greater lung capacity of a male who went through puberty as a male and had years of development before suppressors were started has a marked advantage against the biological girls they now compete against.

As evidence: By the conclusion of Thomas's swimming career at UPenn in 2022, her rank had moved from 65th on the men's team to 1st on the women's team in the 500-yard freestyle, and 554th on the men's team to 5th on the women's team in the 200-yard freestyle. Thomas broke multiple records in 2022 and had top times nationwide in the 200 free and 500 free, as well as a top-10 time in the 1650 free when competing as a woman.

The commonsense solution is to allow the men who identify as a girl to swim on the men’s team, Emotionally and psychologically, these people may truly identify as being a girl; however, the fact is that they are not a girl physiologically.
