Hanni, I don't understand the Officer Sicknick references that have been going around. I remember at the time that he died of a stroke the following day and don't recall reports of him being beaten to death. Though, I'm sure there were all kinds of inaccurate reports coming out in the immediate aftermath of the riot. I'm not sure his death can even be attributed to the riot. But I watched the shit live on TV as it happened and there was definitely more going on than tourists taking selfies. That was the folks who came in after the initial wave.

The Tucker videos also show Buffalo Hat Guy being let into the building by the police. No violence. Yet he's going to prison for three and a half fucking years. His charges include items like "disruption of an official proceeding" and "violent entry into an official building". The "violent entry" part is directly debunked by the video.

He wasn't let into the building by cops. He went through a broken door. After the capitol was overrun I believe they got orders to stand down because they were vastly outnumbered until reenforcements arrived a few hours later. That's when they started forcing people to leave..

It was chaotic. Some cops probably received orders that others never heard. At some entrances there was a bunch of violence and others didn't see much resistance. Once the Capitol was breached their priority was protecting Congress. Not wrestling every rioter to the ground.

The video below shows people smashing windows to wriggle inside right next to where Chansley went in surrounded by other rioters. The judge in his case said he couldn't possibly believe they all had full permission to be there and do whatever they wanted inside.

I think they were a positive influence as far as helping ebb the panic

but I certainly dont think anybody under 60 that was relatively heathy benefitted from it

and I think Pfizer even came pout and said it doesnt stop the spread just lessens your symptoms

a lot of people got 3,4 and 5 vaccines--are getting covid for the 3rd 4th and fifth times.

Ignore the dude circled, this picture is from a different defendant's case. The picture shows the moment Chansley entered the building. You can see him there near the middle of the first breach. No cop escorted him in. On the far right you can see broken windows that rioters smashed and started climbing through before the doors were opened. You can't see them very well but there's another set of windows to the left of the door.

Even Tucker's own segment shows that rioters, who got in through windows they had broken, kicked open the door that the "Shaman" came through. You can fast-forward to about the 2:40 mark to see that.

I forgot to add earlier that he also helped get people to leave peacefully after Trump tweeted his request for people to depart. That's on video too.

You are right that he was not explicitly let into the building, but he was escorted around after he entered the building, and he did not enter it "violently". Nor are the people entering the building in the shots above trampling or beating police officers to get in. Not exactly Hitler leading the Beer Hall Putsch, as you've been led to believe.

For the people busting in doors and breaking windows -- I would have no problem with them serving a jail sentence that is appropriate for the crime (a few days).
