What is there to defend or downplay? It was a very very low grade "riot" by modern standards. The fact that you had tens of thousands of really pissed off people there and there was virtually no damage done to the capital speaks to the civility and restraint of the mob. All that I ask for is equitable treatment based on precedent with Left wing rioters, which clearly is not happening. This is reminiscent of you complaining that the police were doing nothing to catch the people who burned down that Wendy's in Atlanta. After about 5 minutes of digging around I found that all 3 arsonists had already been indicted and were sitting in prison awaiting trial.

I'll admit, it's probably a lot easier to catch morons who filmed themselves committing crimes in the Capitol and livestreaming that shit than people who set fires at night. Can I guarantee that every violent BLM rioter has been tracked down and punished? Nope. But I can guarantee that a lot more of them have been than you constantly claim.

Election officials in multiple states sent home partisan observers by lying and saying that they were suspending the vote count. (this is all public record and not in dispute). Then, with those observers gone, they counted a bunch of ballots that just happened to break 100% for Biden. This is literally on video in Fulton County, GA. Does that count as evidence?

Perfect example -- this guy throws a Molotov cocktail at the cops. It's on video. Then he has the attempted murder and arson charges dropped and gets released on $1,000 bail.

$1,000 bail. That's literallly a thousandth of what Kyle Rittenhouse's bail was.

Fulton County's shenanigans are literally on video. Exactly as described by the people who were sent home because they were lied to that the vote counting was going to stop. You don't need to rely on anyone's word. it's in plain sight. I have yet to hear an innocent explanation for this.

Meanwhile, Jan 6 rioters are getting six month prison sentences for stuff like "disrupting an official proceeding", and many of them are rotting in jail with no bail. Every single potential suspect in Jan 6 is being prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The "assault on police officer" charges could include simply shoving an officer. I haven't seen video of anyone on January 6 trying to beat an officer with a bat or throwing a Molotov cocktail at them.

And then there's Ashley Babbit. How many Antifa or BLM rioters have been shot for doing what Ashley Babbit did? If that were a precedent we'd be stacking BLM and Antifa bodies like cord wood.

With the Dominion case and the January 6th committee, the evidence they presented was all on the Republican side saying that he lost. He lost fair and square, you should have moved on.
