Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

wildcat00 deleted her FB account years ago and stopped doing my picks contests awhile back, too. So, I haven't spoken with her in ages. But, she is still at Sherwin-Williams and her career arc is good. She remains, to this day, the only sentient KSU fan I've ever encountered in any form.
volmillion remains one of the intentionally funniest posters ever. I assume he's faced one or more incindiary device/gun encounters over the past 15 years and have no idea if he survived.
VolKev and Puter -- I don't know. Hope they're well.
I actually met all of the above back when I was extremely careless with my life. Good people. I should send an email at some point to see how they're doing all these years later.
Also, if anyone knows what ever became of jrg98, please let me know. Though generally a detestable bootlick, he had sporadic moments of not fucking awful albeit usually when jousting with Team Val foot soldiers. But, you take you take any W you can when you're facing his genetic, educational and personality limitations.Last edited by iam416; February 9, 2023, 07:21 AM.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Fortunately, we have great TRULY conservative media to expose the lies of Sandy Hook parents, trash Abraham Lincoln and, of course, push the great stolen election. God bless them. I love watching Ds win and can't wait for another 4 years of The Chairman.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Some really good people in your post, Talent. Hate we lost touch. Except for that jrg98 fellow. He was a nihilist. I mean, say what you want about the tenets of National Socialism, but at least it's an ethos."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

For those of you who don’t know Volmillion, he worked as an HR wonk for some small municipality. Ex-Navy, wildly politically incorrect, functional alcoholic, hated the Chinese (Chi-Coms) and skirted the law and keeping his mouth shut so he could stay out of jail and keep his job seemingly every day.
An almost comedy movie character. Part Ignatius J Reilly, part Joe Dirt, part Ron Swanson, part Ron White.

"wonk" suggests some sort of interest or special capacity in the field. As far as I can tell, he had nothing but contempt for the job (Swanson). Otherwise, correct.
One of his stories -- and this I believe completely -- was that some teen kid pranksters pulled up to him at a stoplight and squirted him with a squirt gun through an open window. He quickly responded by pulling out some sort of weapon with a laser scope and put the red on the offender's head. Those bastards had no idea what sort of world of pain they were entering.
