Republicans nearly everywhere used to be highly in favor of mail voting. Florida has a model system. A bunch of western R-dominated states have voted by mail for decades. Mail-in voting improved rural turnout which overwhelmingly benefits Republicans.
Turnout in Clark County, NV, unless there's a big batch of mail votes uncounted, is way way down from 2020 and even way below 2018. Good news for Republicans if that holds.
