Well it's a good thing then that illegal immigrants only conveniently show up in border towns that are perfectly ready for them and never go anywhere else to strain those cities' law enforcement, educational, medical, and social services.
🙄
Yes it is.
And it is a good thing that the recipients of Rhonda and Abbott's ridiculous stunt were able to handle it.
You fuckers are so wrapped up in "border security is bad" that you have no idea what it takes to handle the problem.
It takes a lot more than we are doing, but the main thing that has to be done is to fix the fucking problem. That will never happen though, because the Repubs don't want to lose the political capital.
Oh yeah, and they are scared of brown people
CGVT, I didn't have time earlier to fully address your points here. How exactly do we "fix the fucking problem" when the Ds made the fucking problem? I guess we could vote them out of office. I'm pretty sure Rs DO want to fix the fucking problem. You may recall the previous president made this single issue the focal point of his campaign and he scored an amazing upset win (allegedly).
So what is your solution?
Mine would be to:
Enforce the fucking law, unlike the current administration.
Instead of 87,000 new IRS agents, we hire 87,000 new border patrol agents.
Erect some sort of physical barriers along the border.
Don't pervert the asylum process so that virtually anyone who doesn't like their home country automatically gets to join ours.
Reinstate "Remain in Mexico" through proper legislation.
But then, again, I view our current open borders policy as a huge negative, not a positive. If, like progressives, I thought an additional 2 million illegal immigrants roaming the streets was a good thing for our country, I'd be ecstatic.
Your logic is hard to follow. You certainly seem at odds with folks who prefer a sane immigration process and are disgusted with the current state of affairs. So does that mean you like the Biden administration's open borders policies? And if so, shouldn't you be ecstatic about all the new additions to our country? You blame Republicans for the problem but there has been a 337% increase in border crossings since Biden took office. You're all over the map, dude.

The DemProgs playing the DeSantis "stunt" card is rather amusing when you consider that they are nothing but the party of stunts (who can forget AOC in cuffs)...
Was the illegal immigrants to MV a "stunt"...well maybe...semantics are a playful thing...but maybe it was a necessary stunt to point out the obscene numbers of illegals crossing our southern border...2 million "encounters"...Lord knows how many got through without any encounter...and that the Biden policy is an absolute disgrace and a threat to our economy and security. But those issues apparently are of no concern to the DemProgs...it's more important to call DeSantis a "human trafficker" than address the actual issue.
That's the problem.. there wasn't a better alternative presented. She's a lousy candidate and the R's aren't doing anything to help her out.
Of course, the obsession over the "abortion" issue continues to be downright maddening. From both sides. I don't have a horse in the race, but I do (and all of us do) own a share of the track and am sick of both sides trashing it.
As I've argued, I'm not sure there is anybody in the Michigan GOP that could be what you are looking for. It's whoever the DeVos family gets behind unless you have a guy like Snyder who self funds. I'm pretty sure Snyder could never win today on the agenda he ran on in 2010. I also have no horse in the race but for better or worse today's GOP candidates have to embrace Trump, deny elections and they have to take the strict abortion policy. Not enough of guys like you are participating in the process and the Trumpers are controlling the party.
All is well. No recession. Inflation is not that bad. Border is secure. Crime is under control. Trump is bad. DeSantis is worse. Jan. 6. Abortion is illegal. Pandemic is over but we will still vote to spend emergency monies. Vote for us. Trust us.

fuckin' Trumpers
fuckin' DeSantisers
It was absolutely a stunt. Hats off to Ron DeSantis for being the one Republican politician so far who truly gets it.
This report is from 2019 so, you know, hay higher now. Caveat, there is a wide range of numbers among the studies of how much illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers. There is a common thread, however. They all indicate that it is a COST. That must be why Biden referenced our country's vast wealth when discussing illegal immigration. We can afford it! We also clearly can afford metric fucktons of fentany too!!
Report: Illegal immigration costs taxpayers $116 billion annually; Californians, Texans, Floridians pay the most
