Our president thinks illegal immigration is a "gift". We're a big country that afford to do it and can easily accommodate them. They are not a burden. Which is why the reaction to the 48, FORTY EIGHT, migrants being sent to Martha's Vineyard, a SANCTUARY community no less, is puzzling. Martha's Vineyard is one of the wealthiest communities in the country that handles upwards of 200,000 visitors during summer vacation season. But suddenly 48 migrants who they claim to love so much caused a "humanitarian crisis" - their words. You yourself have claimed that MV both handled the job perfectly and also doesn't have the infrastructure to handle 48 migrants so OF COURSE they had to get rid of them. Well which is it? Are there no jobs available on MV? No schools for the handful of children that were flown there? Would the island run out of water and food?
48 migrants in an affluent community caused an uproar. 24,000 migrants in Del Rio, Texas (population 36,000) goes unnoticed. Can you understand why border states that are dealing with the problem/gift are a little stressed out? Not to mention rural towns much further into the heartland that have buses show up out of the blue, courtesy of Chief Human Trafficker Joe Biden. Once again, progressives can't stand getting called on their own bullshit or being asked to live up to their own rhetoric.
