    🙄

    Yes it is.

And it is a good thing that the recipients of Rhonda and Abbott's ridiculous stunt were able to handle it.

You fuckers are so wrapped up in "border security is bad" that you have no idea what it takes to handle the problem.

It takes a lot more than we are doing, but the main thing that has to be done is to fix the fucking problem. That will never happen though, because the Repubs don't want to lose the political capital.

Oh yeah, and they are scared of brown people
We just hit 2,000,000 border crossings for the year (with time left on the clock!). Honest question: Do you consider that good or bad?

Our president thinks illegal immigration is a "gift". We're a big country that afford to do it and can easily accommodate them. They are not a burden. Which is why the reaction to the 48, FORTY EIGHT, migrants being sent to Martha's Vineyard, a SANCTUARY community no less, is puzzling. Martha's Vineyard is one of the wealthiest communities in the country that handles upwards of 200,000 visitors during summer vacation season. But suddenly 48 migrants who they claim to love so much caused a "humanitarian crisis" - their words. You yourself have claimed that MV both handled the job perfectly and also doesn't have the infrastructure to handle 48 migrants so OF COURSE they had to get rid of them. Well which is it? Are there no jobs available on MV? No schools for the handful of children that were flown there? Would the island run out of water and food?

48 migrants in an affluent community caused an uproar. 24,000 migrants in Del Rio, Texas (population 36,000) goes unnoticed. Can you understand why border states that are dealing with the problem/gift are a little stressed out? Not to mention rural towns much further into the heartland that have buses show up out of the blue, courtesy of Chief Human Trafficker Joe Biden. Once again, progressives can't stand getting called on their own bullshit or being asked to live up to their own rhetoric.

      • Meanwhile at the mostly farcical UN, worl leaders were mostly condemnatory of Putin's war in Ukraine. He didn't attend and he doesn't give a fuck. The UN can't do shit about Putin.

He did a bit of nuclear Sable rattling yesterday. The uniform response was, we've heard this before and we're not worried.

Waiting to see how this plays out. Words don't affect Putin.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

        • The for thee not for me SOP for Ds on immigration is fantastic...

And to go back to what I noted yesterday about how hilarious it is to watch Ds sanctimoniously preach about perils to democracy ...

... it's hilarious to watch Ds ignore immigration laws passed through our Constitutional Republic system...it's hilarious to watch Ds advocate that, essentially, laws passed by Congress and signed by the Executive shouldn't really mean anything...

Well, with the exception of abortion. WHEN they pass the law that makes abortion on demand part of the Constitution, they'll want it enforced at the point of a gun.

            • Note to liney: when in a circle jerk with the boys over how great and noble it is to be a conservative, don't bring up the a-word. Stick to unifying issues like immigration and purging libraries of groomers

                    • I think if anyone is paying attention, they'll see conservatives are fairly close WRT abortion. Most want some sort of limit at a certain time. Very few are in favor of the total outlaw of abortion in cases of rape, incest or life of the mother. And on the other side of that coin, I don't think most progs are in favor of late term abortion.

Call it a 'circle jerk' if you like, (if you're into that sort of thing) but I am not ashamed of what I believe. I believe what I believe based on living life, and observing both sides. I'd rather stand before God one day and know that I was in defense of preborn human life, rather than the unfettered destruction of preborn human life for the sake of inconvenience.

Why is that? In a basic sense, the valid question is Why would you want to let people enter your country ILLEGALLY? Not only does it show a blatant contempt for the rule of law and order, but it creates a shadow culture of individuals that are unaccounted for- they don't show up on tax, employment or criminal records and pretty much be exploited for those exact reasons. If our President, and his party, thinks that's a "gift" then we're screwed.

Unfortunately, one of them has been selected as the best chance to rid us of Whitmer this year. Furthermore, it appears that the R's is going to let the D's carry her to that hill on which to die on.

                          • Liney- You might be the only one here who thinks all "abortions of convenience" should be illegal. That what I was hinting at. I'm not sure any two people here draw the exact same line. That's why it's more divisive than, say, the current immigrant topic

                            Anyways, lighten up, francis.

Agreed. The Republican Party has already conceded to Gretch, and many of them will vote for her. The Romney/Milliken faction is alive and well after all these years.

They have short memories. Her dictatorship during the pandemic should have been more than enough to send her packing.

And one person isn't going to decide how abortion is handled in Michigan. Dixon would not decide it any more than Gretch. Its on the ballot, and if the progs have their way, Michigan will be right there with Cally and NY providing last minute abortions.

                              Wonderful.

You lighten up, and I will too. You accused me of having 'circle jerk' mentality when discussing my values. I'd expect that from a couple others in here, but usually that's outside your range. But, oh well.

And I don't care if I stand alone in my opinion. I believe that the elimination of a pre born human life only for the sake of (in)convenience is a horrible reason for an abortion. It makes me wonder about the mental health of anyone who would have one for that reason, as well as the person performing it.

If I stand alone in that belief, then I'm fine.
