One Florida state representative is calling for a special session of the Florida legislature to cut ties with the DOJ and essentially declare the FBI as illegitimate and not let them do any enforcement in Florida.

The conventional wisdom is that they will charge Trump with a crime in DC, where he hasn't the remotest chance of fair trial. They can charge him with murdering Abraham Lincoln and he will be found guilty.

Trump was going in for his deposition with the NY AG today and he's already released a statement that he's taking the 5th to all questions. Says he used to think people who take the 5th are obviously guilty but now realizes they're obviously innocent.

Trump was in a bind because taking the 5th shields him from (additional?) criminal prosecution but hurts him significantly in any civil lawsuit, which is what the AG case is.
