Probably going to dodge a bullet in Missouri. The psycho Greitans has dropped to third place. If he somehow wins there’s a real chance of a conservative running as an independent to intentionally split the vote. He’s despised by most of the Missouri Republican establishment and by Josh Hawley too

Heh one other thing about Oz. I guess right after he was finally was declared the winner of the primary, he took a several week vacation in Ireland. Then came back and shot a few commercials at his mansion in New Jersey.
Hes been getting the same grumbling, leaky treatment as JD Vance (who I’m pretty sure doesn’t really spend much time at the house he bought in Ohio in 2019)

I'm really disaapointed.
I traveled from Laussane Switzerland this morning to Amsterdam Netherlands, minus internet, and, arriving here, with internet again, just checked in here to see if there was any stimulating discussion. Between Wiz's multiple "STFU" posts and the NJ town idiot Dr. Oz ....... nothing.
I'm deeply dissappointed I didn't see more sarcastic assertions that "smart people are in charge and they are handling unnecessary handouts of billions to Ukraine, the dumpster fire that is the US economy, out of contol congresional spending for pet projects of the radical progressive left, the US recession that either is or isn't depending on I'm not sure, high inflation" and Biden is responsible for all that.
Sorely disappointed. We need more of that here. Get to it. I'll be flying back to Miami starting at a god-awful hour tomorrow morning - no internet on that flight across the pond. When I log in Saturday afternoon (EDT) I expect to see some of that good shit.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Jeff, here's a good piece on nuclear power. It's written by Kevin Williamson so it has plenty of snark.
The Nuclear Heresy
Who’s afraid of the carbon fairy?
If nuclear power did not already exist and someone invented it in 2022, he would almost certainly win a Nobel prize — and would be hailed as the greatest environmental champion of his time, and one of the greatest servants of humanity in history.
But nuclear energy already exists — and the environmentalists who should be its most committed and energetic advocates positively hate it.
Mostly.
Which is kind of weird, but not unexpected — once you understand the daft, quasi-mystical underlying cultural politics. The foundering of U.S. nuclear power for a generation — from the 1980s until right about . . . now, really — is a story of missed opportunities: economic, geopolitical, and environmental.

Some may find this interesting. DOJ indicted a Russian today for conspiring to have US political groups act as agents for the Russian government and sow dissent in the US.
https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/russi...ian-government
The actual indictment is below
https://storage.courtlistener.com/re...404120.1.0.pdf
The indictment keeps the names of the US people and groups anonymous but I was able to at least identify some of them from details in the indictment.
"US Political Group 1" is The African People's Socialist Party. They published the article below that's mentioned in the indictment -- demanding the "imperialists" allow Russia play in the 2016 Olympics. They're also based in St. Petersburg, FL, the Tampa area is mentioned many times.

US Political Group 2 is called "Black Hammer", an even more extreme group than the African Socialists, and run by this cult psychopath. Gazi Kozo is his name he's Unindicted co-Conspirator #5
https://www.thedailybeast.com/infamo...-found-in-home
US Group 3 I'm not sure about yet and sounds like a totally different kind of group than the first two. The indictment just says they are California Secessionists whose leader lives in both California and Russia.
