Charles Cooke (heh) had a good piece earlier this week about the Progs "do something" answer to everything. Everything is some sort of disaster that the Progs feel like they must "do something" about. And, again, they don't really care about the HOW. The problem, as the WSJ notes, is that the Constitution makes it hard to just "do something." It's supposed to be. It becomes considerably easier if you ignore the Constitution and it's most fundamental concept -- separation of powers. However, the Court is finally putting modest limits on Prog chicanery.
