TBF, the post below has nothing to do with what amounts to silly business from the Chairman in touting his ability to lower fuel prices - he has zero capabilities to do that in reality. Just another big lie from government.
It's frustrating to see people over-simplifying the complex set of factors that determine what you're paying at the pump for a fill-up. Supply and demand is just one factor in a myriad of them that determine what a barrel of Brent Crude costs with that cost determining what refiners charge distributors of their products, what transportation costs add to that, then what mark-up retailers charge and there are levels of these (i.e., what 7-Eleven corporate pays and then what the Indian guy, a 7-Eleven franchise owner, tacks on.
From this you should be able to deduce why Costco, BJ/s and other "big box" retailers sell there unleaded regular gas for $289.9/g while the Marathon station right down the street is selling unleaded for $339.9. Costco for example, has a single supplier who has bid the lowest price among many suppliers to deliver gasoline products direct to a limited number of retail outlets. Corporate alone is setting the retail price.

Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

I guess if he wasn't driving the Republican bus he might not be a topic of conversation. As long as he is he will, sadly, be relevant.I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on
