Honestly, the Left doesn't care about what the law is or what the facts are. Somone stood up to the violent mob. Well, THEIR violent mob. And he has to pay.
There are two separate issues, IMO. First, whether you think we should have the type of self-defense law we have in, e.g., Wisconsin. Second, whether Rittenhouse is guilty under the facts and law as they stand. The first question is a fair one and worth a discussion. The second one is really not a close call at all.
It's telling when they get a verdict they like, the Justice system played out the way it should, but if not, it's indicative of a system of white supremacy.
And how we need justice reform and releases for rapists, murders, child sex criminals, but you deserve solitary confinement for being let in the Capitol on 1-6 by Capitol police.
There's some discussion happening in court about the motion to dismiss. I just tuned in but it seems to be centering on the defense video of the drone footage.

I heard something about HD drone footage, and the Prosecution withholding evidence or providing a different video to the defense.
The Chairman has penned an oh-so-genuine letter to the FTC demanding that they take a look at "big oil and gas" for their roles in fixing prices to harm consumers. I could have sworn that limiting supply of fossil fuels was sort of a big deal for The Chairman. And, well, when you limit supply and demand remains the same, prices go up. Talk about some real motherfucking chutzpah.
So, in case you're confused, here's the The Chairman's playbook -- "Big Oil and Gas" produce too much oil, they're killing the environment. "Big Oil and Gas" cut production, they're killing the consumer. Just so everyone is on the same page.
Right. I posted earlier this morning about the formal motion to dismiss that includes the complaint that the prosecution gave the defense a much smaller file of the same video. ADA Kraus gave their story and then the woman on the defense team aptly refuted it. Kraus says they sent it via dropbox or something but the defense lady said she received it via email from Det. Howard and that is the ONLY version they received and what they used for the trial. They didn't know there was any difference until Friday.
Oh, FFS! Schroeder says they have to get testimony about this under oath now. Are they gonna bring the jury in to hear more testimony?? Is that a thing?
In addition to "Big Oil and Gas," The Chairman is gonna go hard after the hated CBO when they dare to have the audacity to suggest the reconciliation morass "isn't free" or "won't pay for itself" or whatever other total motherfucking nonsense The Chairman and his Prog Loyalists push in support of their THIRD trillion+ dollar bill in 8 months.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
The metadata on the file that was sent to the defense was created 21 minutes BEFORE the file that the prosecution submitted. There are two different files and they sent the defense a lower resolution video and are seemingly lying about it in court.
Trump is threatening to sue the Board that awards Pulitzer prizes if they do not immediately rescind awards given to the NYT and WP in 2018 for Russia stories. Proving things can only get stupider.
Because the Pulitzer is an award given out by a private university. It would be like me suing People Magazine because I don’t think Paul Rudd deserves the sexiest man alive award.
