The facts for the prosecution are considerably better in that trial. Those are charges that should have been brought and should be presented to the jury. And, I suspect they get convicted, though I don't know exactly what they're charged with in addition to, presumably, murder. The Rittenhouse case is a total fucking sham. The case essentially rests on this -- he brought a gun to a dangerous area and should have known he'd get attacked. If, e.g., he had actually lived there and he was defending property this wouldn't be the same case. Well, then again, Nicholas Sandman was doing fuck all and he still get assraped by The Media. So, who knows.
But, fundamentally, the thing the things that really bother the Media and The Narrative is (a) the kid stood up to the rioters and looters -- who, in this case, were obviously hereoes; and (b) he went to Kenosha.
The real problem with (b) is that it certainly suggests that if you go to any bad part of town or any area where you might incur trouble, well, self-defense isn't an option.
