Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season
Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.
Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.
If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!
Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.
Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

But I was surprised to learn that a Democrat Governor hasn't won reelection in New Jersey since 1978. Although I guess you could count Christine Todd Whitman as a Dem these days.

Let’s hope so, Hannibal. No better way to alienate voters than calling them racists because they don’t vote for you.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

There are also Progs winning mayoral contests. That’s good. People need to fully understand that these people aren’t bogeymen or bogeypersons. They’re real and the present and future of the DsDan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

McAuliffe was facing headwinds and made things worse by his dumbass "no parents shouldn't have a say in what students are taught" remark (paraphrasing). That's largely relevant to the DC burbs where turnout is extremely high. What could go unnoticed is that at least right now it looks like Dem turnout around Richmond and the Hampton Roads was a total disaster. Biden beat Trump in Richmond city 92,000 to 16,000. A lot needs to be reported but it's pretty obvious McAuliffe won't get anywhere close to that. He can maybe hope for a 30,000 vote win.
