  • However, to answer your question, DSL, that has literally nothing to do with FOX news -- I don't care what Liney and Hannibal want from the R party. I don't give a flying fuck. Any more than you care -- or rather a non-progressive cares -- that there might not be room in the D party for non-woke, non-socialist centrists.

Where did I say that I advocate the purge of anyone? Those people can call themselves a banana for all I care, but it doesn't make it true.

All I'm saying is that the people you list do not speak for the vast majority of conservative people in the country.

DSL will read into your quotes what is necessary. And then, apparently, change topics when called to the mat. How very progressive of him.

        • Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson are on Fox News and they catered specifically to Donald Trump. They were his advisers, especially Hannity. Donald Trump is an avid Fox News watcher and he proved it by tweeting about it for 4 years. The straight news guys on Fox News are what makes lineygoblue mad because on occasion they would break with Trump but the vast majority of any Fox personality are full on Trumpists. As long as that is the case with Fox News, Trump will be the animating force of the party.

          • The McCain-Romney et al bunch like to think they are the "true" conservatives in the country, and they like to think they have those votes in their pockets. Well, the 2008, 2012, and 2016 elections showed them to be wrong.

Obama laughed at the Romney/McCain people and ridiculed them to scorn. Hillary lumped them in with everyone else, and called them "deplorable". That's your Democratic party, that is now running everything in Washington DC.

Absolutely I will. Because I lack your well-established good manners, non-profane language, and completely sacrasm & snark-free posts

It's a bad morning for you. I get it. Marxism reigns and all that. Go comfort your sorrows with some of Danny's cured meats.

Romney got a higher percentage of the vote than Trump did in either 2016 or 2020. Trump lost the House and now the Senate for Republicans.

                • If you think that's true, then there is nothing wrong with the GOP. They had a couple bad elections but they will be back with a new slew of Trumpist candidates. The guys you disparage are at least trying to get the swing voter, you are for purity and so are the Trumps. You just don't realize you are on the same team.

                  • In Ohio, the Covid mortality remains the same. Median age -- 80. Over 65 accounting for over 82% of the deaths. Against this backdrop, Governor DeWine has prioritized vaccinations for folks over the age of 65 -- going against the CDC's recommendations. Thankfully. And, Ohio is unloading shots at high rate (relatively speaking). Ohio is on the right track.

It's worth noting that DeSantis and, I think, Texas are also eschewing the CDC guidelines. It's also important to note the basis of the CDC recommendations. The CDC acknowledges that vaccinating folks over 65 would save more lives, but it doesn't comport with their social justice guideline. You see, there are disproportionately more white people over the age of 65, so more white people get vaccinated and it's just ain't right. Never mind that it actually saves more lives -- including "brown" lives. Social justice demands otherwise.

This is the "science" we have to look forward to when AO-Kamala eventually completely takes over healthcare. Can't fucking wait.

Romney couldn't beat Obama. The same Obama who presided over an absolute obliteration of his party that resulted in the election of PDJT. Given how badly the Rs beat the brakes off the Ds during the Obama years, it's actually rather amazing how Romney lost.

That said, it's a perfect example of how fleeting politics is. PDJT delivers full control of the government in 2016 and leaves with zero control. Albeit, the House and Senate are now remarkably close. And, I guess, the Rs have still consolidated their power in states. But, still, voters will hang those in charge. The Ds are in charge.

All of those loony Conservatives and their loony conspiracy theories about how nonpartisan organizations have been ideologically compromised.

Yeah, I wish I was making that up. I wish the CDC guidelines for vaccination prioritization were as simple as -- "what saves the most lives?" But, by their own terms they are not.

I thought those arguments were mostly limited to some kooky academic pushing the same old vulgarly stupid critical race bullshit. But, man, to see it from the CDC. Welp.

Fortunately, a few states have told that bullshit to fuck the fuck off.

Sure it can. In fact, I think you do a pretty good job of it every time you post on the issue.

The biggest challenge that Conservatives face is convincing most people how widespread the disease of cultural Marxism is. Liberals don't even try to defend it in most places. They just deny that it exists.
