Not many people are. That he was able to last four years is because his actions served as a means (which may or may not be intentional) to make the "other guys" show their true colors. If there is going to be a positive spin on his legacy it will be that he brought out the far Left and showed that they aren't a bunch of mostly harmless cartoon characters but a legitimate threat with little interest in helping most Americans..

    • Some more pearl clutching on the pathways that this lame duck president could pursue: Several days ago, with Trump's appointment of a "yes man" to replace Defense Secretary Esper, articles began appearing in various sources, one The Military Times, that worried about Trump reviving his demand to declare an insurrection and send US troops into city's to quell protestors and remove them. Esper told Trump to go pound sand - the principal reason why Esper got fired. Will Trump revisit that or worse will Trump commit US troops to battle somewhere around the world?

He has the power to do that and in the case of committing troops to battel outside the US, he can do that too, this despite the War Powers Act of 1973. This was Congress's attempt to limit presidents from issuing EOs to send to places like Nixon did committing US forces to Vietnam in 1963. It's been largely ineffective. Trump could do either of these things.

Would he is the real question because he certainly can. Would the principal military officers responsible for carrying out such an order from their CINC refuse to obey that order? It's lawful as far as I can tell so that's not an issue. Personally I don't think that doomsday scenario will ensue. In fact I argued that among very liberal friends who despise Trump and were worried about it on a Zoom Call last evening. My opponent in the argument where I offered that wasn't going to happen and to stop the hysteria, exclaimed he had no confidence in the unhinged man sitting in the oval office to not brazenly undertake doing something stupid like this.

More useless pearl clutching and the stuff that just revs up the D base ..... and Trump gets criticized for revving up his base with his tweet storms, noticeably absent in the last week since the election. So, yeah the left are the nice guys who protest peacefully, uphold the democratic voting process while the right is the scourge of the American political landscape.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

Tolerant how? Should we allow it legally? Yes, because he's legally entitled to challenge the votes in swing states when there are people willing to testify to the existence of ballot fraud operations in the Democratically-controlled areas of these states. Even if these operations are not materially successful enough to overturn the results, they need to be daylighted.

I don't know what else there is to say or do. We can't trust our media to examine this question with any degree of intellectual honesty or integrity.

It really all depends on whether or not Trump has "truly gone fishing". I'm no psychiatrist, but I don't think he has. Sure, he's a narcissist with a gigantic ego, but he falls short of the Nixonian level of paranoia. Maybe he just enjoys kicking the shrubs to see comes out. Granted, that's rather psychotic and certainly not what you would want the leader of a Global superpower to do, but starting a war? Now that's Crazy.

                Again, I'm not a psychiatrist.

                • I think he has the Nixon paranoia level matched but he just isn't as smart. He certainly wouldn't have voluntarily resigned like Nixon. Big difference is Nixon never had the type of idolatry that Trump has, 40 percent of the country wants to smell his farts 24/7.

                      • I'd be very surprised if the Ds control the House after the 2022 mid-terms. First, the Democratic Socialists largely bit their tongue because they were fighting a common enemy. Yes, Pelosi appeased them to some extent, but the D-Socialists aren't going to be so easily appeased. And, FYI, D-Socialists may play in the Bronx but not in places where you can't easily drive to the ocean. Second, the Rs are going to be in charge of redistricting in significant states. For example, Georgia, Florida and Texas are going to add a bunch of seats (California is actually projected to LOSE a seat). NE and B10 seats are getting shipped to the Sun Belt. That's going to be a net R gain.

The Senate may be more interesting. Pennsyvlania will be fascinating in 2022, especially Lamb runs.

But, I'd bet a large amount of money on the Rs winning the House in 2022.

                        • We'll see. There will be another strong push for amnesty pretty soon and that will probably be a net 5-10 Million + more vote margin for Democrats around the country. We're beyond fucked forever if that happens.

                          • I don't know if this is the standard for the Trump campaign everywhere, but I caught some details from an evidentiary hearing in Arizona today. Those affidavits? All people are doing is filling out a form online, making an accusation of some malfeasance. Trump's lawyers then print them out and try to submit them as evidence in court. Arizona judge was not impressed.

                            • I couldn't care less about 2022, I assume the GOP will get both houses. The key is getting a second CARES act done for the short term but they may have missed the window for that. Print the money.

                              • What is wrong with Trump's legal team? They don't even bother to check state laws before filing? They got interns running his appeals?
