It's an extremely compelling story, liney, and I believe every word of it.

Probably the most important, election-changing documents Tucker will ever have and instead of making backups of any of them, they just dropped the originals in a DHL envelope and saw them off with a kiss.

I believe every word. My goodness the information in those documents must have been breath-taking for Tucker to take such extreme precautions.

I ever share with you the story of how FoxNews won a defamation lawsuit against Tucker by arguing in court that Tucker Carlson's viewers are sophisticated enough to understand that nothing he says should be treated as accurate or factual?

Fox News viewers don't expect facts from Tucker Carlson, according to network lawyers who defended their star in a slander lawsuit filed by a woman who said she had an affair with President Trump.

What is regarded as a virus is not alive. It is simple genetic material. It has no reproductive system no nervous system and no metabolic system. It is not an agent. They are lying to us. Toxins and nutrient deficiency are what make us sick. I am 57. I have not worn a mask. I have not social distanced. Since June I have traveled to Vegas and back and Chicago and back and Colorado and back. I do not avoid sick people. I have not experienced a sniffle all year. I know how to take care of myself. I don't take prescription drugs. I stay away from medical doctors like the plague. This is all politics. people are dying for the same reasons that they've always died, except that those reasons have been aggravated by fear. Fear causes people to make poor choices. Staying inside away from fresh air and sunshine and wearing a device that inhibits your breathing is not good for you. Less visits to the grocery store results in poorer nutrition. Staying inside likely results in less exercise. All of this is necessary to stay healthy. And it's not hard at all.

      • I have the same contempt for NPR that you have for Fox News, Strangelove.

At this point, I don't think there is anything Trump can do to avoid losing the election. Lost/stolen Hunter Biden documents won't change a thing.

When Trump loses on Tuesday, he only has himself to blame.

The Democrats threw the weakest set of candidates up against him since the glory days of Mike Dukakis and Lloyd Bentsen. Even with the Covid outbreak, Trump should be burying Biden/Harris on the economy alone. The Democrats have aligned themselves with the most extreme individuals in American history, people who want the elimination of capitalism, and the start of socialism. People who want police departments defunded, and eliminated. Such ideas should be ridiculous in the USA, but here it comes, in January.

So, no. I don't think that lost or stolen documents sent to Tucker Carlson will have any effect at all on Tuesday's results. But you can go on thinking I believe that, if it makes you feel better or superior. I'm fine with it.

                      • Speaking of Wiz, conspiracy bullshit and Facebook, this was an actual Facebook response to a post about Trump being "censored" on Twitter when Biden is not.
BTW, this is not tongue in cheek. She actually believes this bullshit.

Final RCP Average 2016 Generic Ballot: Democrats +0.6

On Election Day the RCP average was Clinton +2.1. Biden is currently +7.7

But more important than the margin for Biden is this: his average vote share is 51.3 in these polls. Hillary was only 46.8%

                          • Go easy on Wiz people ....... he's making the 17th best wings in Lincoln and we don't want him distracted from that important job of keeping them right there.

Seriously though, aside from the RT/PCR test "lying to us," there's plenty of sense in what Wiz said in that post. There are issues with molecular tests lighting off on non-infective particles of SARS-CoV-2 virions. They can even light off on the common cold corona viruses. These are known issues.

The FDA set specificity and sensitivity standards for all testing devices before they were approved. They're tough. Labs had to design the reagents in a molecular test to pass specific thresholds for not lighting off on both inactive SARS-CoV-2 virions or common cold viruses (cornavirus). But they are not 100% accurate every time one is administered and that is why some entities require repeat, confirmatory testing even if it is an RT/PCR test whose result, both negative or positive, is being confirmed.

Bottom line: testing is accurate enough to identify most cases correctly. That does not however make the data accurate. Test result inaccuracies are also caused by the baked in errors that result from widely varying collection, processing and reporting protocols between states in the US and nations globally. That makes conclusion being drawn from that data suspect. Agencies reporting data and making graphical comparisons are not "lying" so much as they are presenting suspect data and particularly suspect conclusions from it. This crap then informs policy makers and we get these shit mitigation policies ...... garbage in garbage out.

So, to a certain extent, Wiz has a point (on his head). What's driving craziness like Macron's lock-down in France and what drives the idiocy of the dire consequences narrative here in the US is some fucked up data. Does that mean we should ignore the risks of SARS-CoV-2? No, not at all. What we should be rejecting are calls for mitigation measures that provide minimal PH benefit, in terms of actual reduction of disease burden that can be justifiably defined by CFR, that keep us locked in our homes watching NETFLIX and businesses shuttered.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
