    • Calling the Dayton shooter Antifa is a stretch let alone that Antifa played some role in what he did. Yeah, he expressed support. He expressed support for a whole bunch of causes that celebrated violence. He kept a rape journal and told classmates his fantasies about committing a school shooting. Listened to death metal and linked violence with sex. Was both drunk and coked up when he did the shootings. His own sister was the first victim. Dude was just a sick fuck more than anything else.

        • It's not just social media trying to impose the 1984 Clownworld on us. It's the credit card companies too. The Left wants self-defense to be illegal.

I have said this before, but Corporate America is fully 100% on the side of BLM and the rest of the clownworld crew. Or at least the leadership is. The rank and file maybe not as much, but nobody is going to protest their company's politics in a 10% unemployment environment. if you aren't part of the extreme left right now then you might as well be Winston Smith.

          • The church in Santa Clara California that I posted about a week or so ago has now accumulated fines for over $52,000 for simply having meetings, and singing. Yes, singing is part of the fines. County officials have told them that the fines will continue until all meetings cease. They are fining the church $5000 per meeting. The church meets twice on Sundays, and once on Wednesdays.

The fines do not mention anything about social distancing or mask wearing, even though the church is complying with those actions.

Meanwhile, the local bars are open and serving customers. All the grocery stores are open. Department stores are open. Adult book stores are open. No fines to any of them.

But church? Its unlawful for you to be open.

These are today's Democrats. When/if they win in November, they'll find other excuses to do this to churches. I guarantee they don't have the balls to do it to a mosque.

            • Been through this before...the law does not single out Christian churches. Mosques and temples are not exempt. That church you're describing is apparently one of only two in the county that has refused to go along with the county ordinances and hold services outdoors.

We can have a conversation about it being stupid and unfair to allow bars to operate indoors but not religious services. But can't have that conversation until you give up believing that only Christians are being denied the right to convene.

              ********************

This week, the pastor posted a 10-minute video with his reasoning for reopening, noting that there hasn’t been a spike in cases locally, and they are following protocols inside.

However, the county counsel sees it differently, and they said that there are not enough masks or adequate social distancing. Videos posted to the church’s website appear to show just that.

Out of 150 complaints the counsel has received, the church is just one of two that keeps holding indoor services.

A Santa Clara church that has racked up more than $50,000 in fines for public health violations is expected to go ahead with indoor services Wednesday evening.

The church has offered to hold outdoor meetings, but was told by the county officials that they could not have more than 25 people present. The church has over 3000 members.

Again, they were not fined for failure to wear masks, or social distance. They were fined for meeting.

In Orange County California, a suburb of Los Angeles, Grace Community Church is getting the same treatment. Again, the fines are not for failure to social distance or failure to wear masks. The fines are for meeting, and singing. It is another very large church, led by an outspoken pastor.

You can blow this off all you like Strangelove, but people like Gavin Newsome, DeBlasio and Cuomo are all unabashedly against churches. I suppose the California churches could try to appeal to Nancy Pelosi, but she had a hair appointment that she just couldn't get out of....

And, California is the home state of Kamala Harris, who will be President as early as next year at this time. If this was a black congregation, she'd be all over this. But so far? Nary a comment.

I read about that today. He was quoted as saying he was "being hunted". Well golly gee man ... if you're being "hunted" by the US Marshalls it might be a good idea to turn yourself in to friendlier local law enforcement, rather than coming out with a gun in your hand and trying to shoot it out with them. Especially if you're innocent of whatever charges you're being sought for.

He made several foolish decisions, and it cost him his life.

Antifa goons and pro Trump goons who get killed are no reason to mourn.
