A little lengthy, but he says it all.
I remember back in time when a large portion of the black community were aligned with the theme of hard work will get you everything you need in life - Bill Cosby (not the greatest to assign this thinking too but still ......) in the day he championed this approach very publicly and asked people of his race to stop blaming everything and every white person for holding them down.
Glad to see that line of thinking is still alive although you won't hear it often because it is getting drowned out by dis and mis-information. If you do hear it, persons saying stuff like this will be labeled racists or Uncle Toms.
Policing is a problem but it's largely not a racial problem when it comes down to shooting of blacks v. others. Are blacks more likely to get hassled by police? Yes and there's plenty of evidence that happens because of failure to follow the commands during a lawful intervention by law enforcement involving blacks. The talk on this is completely distorted and the facts demonstrate it.
It frustrates me that politicians and companies insist on this pandering to curry favor when what I want, and I may not speak for all or even most Americans, is for someone from the black community to step forward, shout down the claims that blacks are oppressed, but instead, have plenty of opportunities to succeed and that problems of policing are distinctly separate and involve poor training and accountability for misconduct absent racism that is entirely correctable given the political will to separate them and get on with it. D city officials, I'm talking to you!Last edited by Jeff Buchanan; August 28, 2020, 10:43 AM.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. Jesse Lee Peterson believes Nelson Mandela was an evil man and that blacks were better off under apartheid.
Here he is giving a sermon on how it was a huge mistake allowing women to vote
Frequent Fox News guest speaker Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson drew sharp criticism for arguing that women should not have the right to vote in a sermon that was posted on YouTube in March. In the speech, Peterson argues that women are destroying American society and wield too much political power.
He's also one of those guys who thinks blacks need to show more appreciation for having been enslaved and brought to America
Hannity's pal also compared slave ships to riding coach in an airplane: “It’s a tough ride. But you’re happy when you get to your destination.”

In addition to being a Communist who was heavily inspired by Mao Zedong, Nelson Mandela was a terrorist bomber, a fact that he never even tried to deny, but which has been covered up and hidden by the media since the '80s when he rebranded himself as Martin Luther King -- South Africa edition. During his days in charge of the uMkhonto we Sizwe (the military wing of the Soviet-sponsored African National Congress) the ANC took up the practice of necklacing -- burning people to death using a tire filled with gasoline. Calling him an "evil man" is not too much of a stretch, especially if you focus in his early days. The man has become a sacred cow but the truth about his life is out there.
If Jesse Lee Peterson believes that South Africa was better run under apartheid, then he agrees with a whopping 60% of South Africans in a 2002 poll that said the same thing.

Colonial life wasn't as bad as the rewritters of history want to make it. I've actually studied the "exploitation" of the Caribbean Islands and Central America by colonialists and as recently as the "horrible" treatment of the people there by Dole. As sugar no longer was a viable crop and as Dole bailed getting tired of communist agitators getting otherwise happy people living decent lives, enjoying clean water, sewers and housing all worked up.
Today, both the Caribbean Islands and Central America are largely made up of countries with failed socialist or blatantly communist governments, filth, wide spread corruption, incredible poverty and political discontent. No surprise. Failed states are the garbage that Marxist idealists have left behind.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. Or do you really think that American Blacks today are worse off than if they were living instead in sub-Saharan Africa?Last edited by Hannibal; August 28, 2020, 12:19 PM.

BTW and somewhat related, Putin and Lukashenko, according to some analysts writing in the Economist, are showing signs of desperation and fear ..... something dictators start to exhibit when "the rifle and the syringe" are no longer effective in controlling the people that show up in the hundreds of thousands to demand they leave town.
It is said these types live in absolute terror that their security forces won't be able to protect them when the people they govern get tired of their lies, deceit and corruption and bring down the palace's gates. Putin's hold on power, in particular, is dependent on keeping the Oligarchs happy and this is getting hard with oil prices dwindling. Both of these two are on life support.Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off.
