Liney... Until my recent cancer battle I had little idea how many advances have been made in care. Lymphomas and Colon cancer along with skin and breast seem to have made the most advancements. Stay positive.. It's tough. I know. But it does make a difference.

Trump is the only one with a shot at winning it outright. That much is clear, and his chances took a hit this week.

Entropy, you as well, my friend. I know you've been thru the mill lately, and I appreciate your kind words of encouragement. They are greatly appreciated, and I'm glad to hear that you are well on the road to recovery yourself."in order to lead America you must love America"

Whatever scenario leaves the GOP a smoldering crater is what I'm rooting for. A brokered convention would be a catastrophe. Conventions stopped being about nominating a candidate decades ago. Now there are carefully choreographed marketing/campaign events. You can't go into a 5 day extravaganza without even knowing who is giving the big speech at the end. That would be a complete dumpster fire.

If Trump goes into the Republican convention with the most delegates, and comes out without the nomination, he's guaranteed to start a third party bid.
That would basically make the Republican convention the Democratic convention, Part Deux. Whomever the Republican candidate would be, would have absolutely no chance of beating both Hillary and Trump.
Just prepare yourselves now. Its Hillary for eight years. We automatically give presidents second terms in America now ..."in order to lead America you must love America"

It's not going to get any better for him this Thursday. The dynamic is likely to be the same. Rubio will be still in full on kamikaze mode doing enough to get Trump's goat and elicit the same crap. Cruz will surgically drive his message home -- I agree that he's less electable than Trump, but the cat is smart as shit. Waaaaay conservative, but wicked smart.
So you end up with a stark Trump/Cruz contrast -- Trump is congenitally unable to play nice, but if it were just Trump-Cruz, he may be able to get shit under control. But Rubio really amps it up. That said, his un-fucking-believable answer about the military was all his own doing.
What accrues to Trump's benefit is that the 4-man stage is a chance for people to see Kasich, which I think helps me. And Kasich/Rubio split whatever votes are come from that quarter. Kasich MAY win Ohio, but Rubio ain't winning Florida. And if that's how it plays out, then I think Trump will get to his number to avoid a brokered convention.
I'm not sure the Republican Party is hitting the "self-destruct" button or if Trump hit it for them. I tend to think the latter. But I also think the Rs are still really formidable in nearly everything other than the race for President. So I don't see any global "self-destruct.Last edited by iam416; March 7, 2016, 09:45 AM.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
