  • Heading to bed...great comeback for Joe. Wins at least 8 states. Maine is looking like it could fall his way. Minnesota and Massachusetts are big upsets in his favor. Texas might not go his way in the end but it'll be close. California is close enough that Bernie couldn't win the state immediately like it was looking a week ago.

      • Not sure why Texas might go for Bernie, especially since he's against anything that uses fossil fuel. Texas is all about oil

        • Bernie's 2020 campaign made it a big objective to bring out the Hispanic vote and it has worked so far, that's why Texas was thought to be a good target.

              • Also, this Frank Reichian rally is truly a testament to (a) how much Ds want to beat PDJT and (b) how much a majority of Ds just don't like THE BERN.

Michael Moore should be precious today.

                • Also, another shot to the heart of the Citizens United doomsdayers. Well, 2016 was already a shot -- maybe a cannonball -- to the heart of that rationale. This may be closer to a nuclear missile. And, oddly, the one thing keeping down the dude who spent no money is the generally D-initiative of early voting. Biden crushed it day of. Sleepy Joe!

Any day Marxism gets rejected at the polls is a good day. Even in a primary. Sleepy Joe ain't no William Jefferson Clinton or Barrack Hussein O'Bama, but he also doesn't hate everything about America.

                  • Trump has largely stayed out of that race but he's out with a fairly nasty, sneering tweet about Sessions this morning. Says he lacked the courage and wisdom to shut down the Russia hoax. Still mad over recusal.

On another note, noting that some looneys charged Biden's stage last night and probably could have stabbed Joe if they had really wanted to before being dragged off, why is it that no Secret Service agents have been attached to ANY Democratic candidate yet? Trump got secret service protection as early as Nov. 2015 last time. And the SS doesn't make the call on their own; apparently it's a DHS decision.

Also, Biden has not requested secret service. So, this is all SOP.

                        • Very surprising turnaround for Joe. Looks like he'll very easily be the nominee at this point.

Since nobody will actually be voting for Joe instead of against Trump, I'm guessing that his Veep pick will be critical as a future successor.

So how do we feel about next Tuesday's races?

                            Idaho - Bernie
                            Washington - Bernie
                            Michigan - ???
                            Missouri - Biden
                            Mississippi - Biden
                            North Dakota - ???

Sanders won North Dakota last time but it was a caucus in 2016 and held in June; this year it's a primary. Saw Wasserman or some other election guru that Bernie's rural voter support haven't shown up for him this time. The reason being is a lot of those people were mainly anti-Hillary and have since become Trump voters.

Conventional wisdom on Michigan has had it a good state for Bernie but Biden has taken the momentum and a poll out even yesterday showed him with a 6 point lead there.
