  • This is Sondland's own lawyer saying this to the WSJ. When the Republicans exit these hearings and claim that everything's going great for Trump, they are lying their asses off.

This is why they are panicking and arguing the dumbest process shit imaginable.

    • Not only is this illegal and an impeachable offense but it indicates how weak the guy is. The only way he thinks he can beat Biden is to strong-arm a foreign country to lie about Biden? I like Biden and would crawl over broken glass to elect him over Trump, but Joe is not a great candidate.

      • Sounds like we probably got Baghdadi overnight. Trump's making an announcement in a few hours

        • More Lighter Side news!

The lady in the video below, the founder of a Pro-Trump anti-immigrant group called AZ Patriots, the one yelling "Respect our laws!", has been arrested for identity theft. Apparently she stole some old lady's hotel points to book herself a room in California for a concert. Green shirt dude is really the star of the video though.

Police say that when she was booked she was very disruptive, used excessive profanity, and kicked over a trash can. No respect for the laws. Shame, really.

            • Because he just can't help himself, Trump suggests killing Baghdadi is a bigger deal than killing Bin Laden was.

"This is the biggest there is. This is the worst ever. Osama bin Laden was big, but Osama bin Laden became big with the World trade Center. This is a man who built a whole - as he would like to call it - a country".

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Baghdadi is not the household name that Bin Laden was.

              • Which is not to say that getting Baghdadi isn't a big deal, because it is, but c'mon...

                • So ISIS is over now?

                  • No ..... I'm sure that was sarcasm but, Bahgdadi is a lot like ufm. He's an organizer and pushes that trait downstream to all his Lieutenants. That's what made ufm and Bahgdadi formidable. Snake will be missing a head for a while until ISIS finds another one. osu found there's without missing a beat.

                    Next man up.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                        • What will their argument be against the release? Besides Dear Leader not wanting documented obstruction evidence released?

Prob just more of the same. They'll say it's wrong to release grand jury material, it'll harm innocent people, yadda yadda. They may try to still insist the impeachment inquiry isn't legitimate, though the grounds they have for making that argument are weak. For the courts to recognize the inquiry as legitimate is a blow to Trump because it gives the subpoenas greater weight when balanced against privacy concerns.

                            • Trump's in Chicago giving a speech to cops where he's been pretty relentlessly bashing the City of Chicago and attacking their Chief of Police (who is boycotting Trump's speech).

All over the world people know Chicago is a disgrace, Trump says. It's more dangerous to walk around Chicago than Afghanistan, Trump says.
