Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

  • One other thing about Trump's recent polling I saw pointed out today. We possibly over-focus on his approval number instead of looking at 'disapproval'. There are fewer and fewer people who have 'no opinion' on Trump. And in recent weeks there have been quite a few more of those breaking towards "disapprove". In his first term, Obama bottomed out around 52.5% disapproval in the summer of 2011 -- Trump is starting to routinely hit 54% and 55% disapproval in polls.

Obama was sort of saved by a rebounding economy. But for Trump, the economy is already good.

American stuff, lots of red white and blues. it's the conservative yard sign, the American flag waving on the front porch. especially in liberal areas where you will get vandalized for a Trump sign

I can spot the conservative a mile away from their patriotism. SAD!

            • So today Trump closed his remarks to the press by saying any Jew that votes Democrat is either ignorant or "disloyal"

It's unclear what he meant by disloyal. Disloyal to who or what? Disloyal to Trump? Disloyal to the country? Huh? Disloyal to Israel? Themselves?

Matt Brooks, of the Republican Jewish Committee, came up with that last "explanation". But most Jewish conservatives aren't charging out to defend this. Which of the explanations above is actually positive? The most generous explanation is that he's not accusing most Jews of having dual loyalties, he's just claiming to know what being a good Jew means more than most Jews themselves.

Of course, the one other explanation that's always out there is that the man's a muddled mess and doesn't understand half the things he says.

              • Trump cancels a scheduled meeting with the PM of Denmark because she said she's not interested in selling Greenland and called the proposition "absurd". Too bad!
