ask congress that question. Trump tried to work with them, and they spit in the face of the American people. at a minimum they had a responsibility to tell us why they came up with less than what the security experts say they need, but they didn't.

it's not treason for cabinet members to discuss the 25th. However, Comey, McCabe, Rosenstein and Strzok and every other person discussing wearing a wire to tape Trump were not members of the cabinet. to start investigations over Trump exercising one of his constitutional duties in firing an FBI director, and counter intelligence investigations based on no crime, and no evidence of a crime, only a piece of oppo research they knew came from the Hillary campaign.

is setting the stage for the GOP's worst nightmare. Imagine its early in President AOC's 1st presidential term and the GOP does not control the legislature. Some Krapture type goes on yet another school/daycare shooting rampage. Vice President Warren announces an upcoming executive fiat that will restrict an individual's 2nd Amendment rights to a single shot shotgun. President AOC declares gun violence to be a national emergency and diverts defense department spending into a mandatory gun seizure program. Citing the precedent of and counting on the cowardice of Congress not to rein in a rogue President (as repeatedly seen during the Trump administration), she launches and funds a national program that the majority of Americans oppose and Congress did not fund.
Pray that cooler heads within the GOP convince the Traitor-In-Chief to not declare a national emergency. Pray that Congress can put aside partisan bickering and repudiate this Hitleresque power grab. Pray that the courts quickly strike down this unconstitutional attempt at imperial rule.
needs to be impeached and removed from office as soon as possible. He swore an oath to defend and preserve the Constitution, not wipe his ass with it. At a bare minimum, this blatant attempt to subvert the Constitution ranks as a high crime and misdemeanor.
It is a dark day in America when a pitiless ayatollah like Mike Pence is a better choice in the Oval Office than the current occupant.
