Kapture's Sanders quote is classic
I'm pretty much a moderate, a centrist
I just worry that under 40 voters don't see that
I think with "social justice" and shit, politics really is downstream from culture, and the leftists own the culture-driving machines -- the media (including film, of course) and the universities. So, I would expect the Orwellian social justice machine to continue to crank forward. That's not going to get undone.
Those are broad brush categories. There are still a number of issues that are sort of their own thing with their own middles. Immigration, e.g. But, if I had to predict the next 10 years I'd say in 2020 the Ds win the Executive easily, add a few more seats to the House (they're sort of nearing their asymptote) but the Rs keep the Senate. I think by 2024 they'll have given away those gains. They're going to push hard left and they won't be able to help themselves. There will be a definite opening for the Rs in 2028. The only question I have -- and it's a serious question -- is how long-lasting will PDJT's damage be to the Rs? I tend to think the suburbanite voters get over it in an election or two, especially when the Ds come at them with their preposterous Green New Deal. But, I could be way wrong.
