Theresa May dealt a crushing, humiliating blow. Only options left may be to just let the country leave the EU with no safety net at all in March, which will seriously damage the economy, or hold a second referendum. British politics just a royal clusterfuck right now -- and the existence of the UK itself is increasingly in peril.
A hard Brexit will almost certainly lead to a second referendum for Scottish independence, and they may actually be favored to win this time. It may also lead to Northern Ireland very seriously considering leaving the UK and uniting with the rest of Ireland (long overdue but this could expedite it). Both of which would seriously reduce England's role and importance in the world.
