Well, there's not a lot of good news out there for The Donald but the media is hell-bent to see to it that the Grinch is stealing Christmas.

Frankly, I've given up on thoughtful reporting from US media sources. It's not that they are unreliable, it is that the reporting is over the top with the intent to induce fear. There's not a 4 alarm fire, there's a fire with an entire family trapped in the basement with no way to get to them (listener concludes so, they're all going to die in a pile of melting flesh) or there's a mine disaster, first responders are rushing to get miners out before they experience a horrible death by suffocation (flash to shots of distraught wives holding teary eyed children) .

The media prays on our fears and that clip from Kap demonstrates how really bad the media is in leading us down a path of hopelessness when that is not at all a constructive or productive path to go down.

I agree that the vast majority of US sources suck, but Reuters is decent. WSJ is okay if you stay away from the editorials and the guest writers. Its not US, but the BBC provides US news without much of an agenda.
