What was Don Canham's famous maxim? Something like "don't turn a day story into a three day story". With this administration its the exact opposite, they want to turn a molehill into mountain. It seems like the ruling that it violates the 1st amendment is a little much just as they shouldn't have revoked the pass.

Historical note: Republican losses in the House were not as bad as what happened to the Dems in 1994 or 2010. However, it WAS the worst showing by the Republican Party since the post-Watergate 1974 midterms, over 40 years ago.
