Murkowski is under a lot of pressure in her home state to vote no on Kavanaugh and it has nothing to do with the accusation stuff. American Indians make up 20% of the state's population and Kavanaugh's past rulings has the Alaska Federation of Natives highly opposed to his nomination. Alaska's Governor (a former Republican-now-Independent) is also against Kavanaugh -- as is the Lt. Governor.

Welp, the Rs are going to get to a vote sooner rather than later. The preposterous delay tactics are at an end. That's the key. They'll either confirm Kavanaugh or cede to the smear.
