Trump's comment suggests he doesn't even understand what's happening. He legit thinks Harley is just moving all its production overseas and he's vowing to punish them with crushing taxes.

Again, any other President, and you'd label this socialism. Under Trump, it's just about loving 'Murica.

    • Forget fresh and fun, I want a motor that wont take a shit after 30,000 miles.

      • I started out with a Honda 450 when I was 18 years old, then had a Yamaha 650, Honda 750 - all really great reliable bikes. But got tired (back then) people made fun of the rice burner (jokes) and thought I would be cool. First long trip I took - broke down in Lima Ohio on the freeway, had to ride all the way back to Detroit with out taking the bike out of gear.

        • My first was a Honda 750, then went the other way with the CBR600RR. Then I got married and no longer needed a motorcycle that could get up to 80 mph on an on-ramp.

Few years I will be in the marker for a nice cruiser, and I don't believe Harley will be my first choice. Probably look at Indians first.

            • Yes, I like the Indians myself, my grandfather worked there in Springfield. I almost bought one 3 years ago. If I were to ever ride again (not likely) that's the way I would go, I could do it. But with all the texting and driving going on - no thanks.

              • So a company complies with the law and now faces political persecution? Seems right on schedule, actually.

HOTTAKE: neither Rita Coolidge nor Bonnie Bramlett nor Karen Carpenter are responsible for the best version of Groupie/Superstar. I've posted it here before, and never will tire of doing so anyways, because it's so out of left field and the last track on an album in which she fails to comprehend the material she is working with until this point. Dunno how this came to be, but wow it's good.

I feel like I am watching the destruction of our democracy while my neighbors and friends cheer it on

Never had a crotch-rocket but did ride a few, take a look at this bad boy lol This was my Yamaha. One night I was at a bar in Detroit and a guy pushed over my bike while I was inside shooting pool. I was told he was yelling Jap POS! or something and someone even said he was pissing on it (?) Probabley a good thing he was gone by the time word got back to me, as I ran out there with cue in hand in a rage.

                    • I'd rather not talk about the ABB it is kind of played out to be honest. I'd rather talk Britpop.

                      • I think surely there is a forum with more females on it where you can do that? Not only is this mostly a forum of males, but most of us are at least 150 years old and have little ability to discuss that genre.

To be fair, depending on which people you're talking about, I may be their enemy.

                          • Expand your mind Hack it doesn't always have to be about Dickies Betts or Jason Isbell.

I have an in-law that is a news director in Trump country and he says you can't believe the hateful emails he gets about liberal bias. He laughs because he is hiring people out of school who don't know anything about anything. They are not smart enough to project their bias in coverage, plus they are covering the local fair or festival. But he gets a kick out of these people because he'll call these people and they back down pretty quickly. Bark is bigger than their bite.

                            • I have already freed my mind, and my ass has already followed. Can we at least agree that it has to NOT be about U2? Maybe we can't all apprecate ABB, but we know garbage when we see it right?

LOL/sigh re journalists on the local beat in those places. Truly god's work. But most of us in the real world would really struggle to look for all the pro-liberal bias. We just don't know the many places in which it can be found. I was once told that my paper's lack of NASCAR coverage was evidence of liberal bias, and that was 20 years ago.
