Kapture- It seems fairly clear that Obama wanted an update on the Russia investigation. On Sept. 2, which is the date of that text, there was no Clinton email investigation. Comey had closed it in July. It wasn't until late Sept. that the additional emails were found on Weiner's computer and the investigation was reopened in October. Again, Obama was about to meet with Putin and wanted some sort of update on what they had found on Russia meddling, most likely. SCANDALOUS.Originally posted by Kapture1 View PostComment

Rob Porter, one of Trump's top secretaries, didn't even make it 24 hours after the Daily Mail revealed he has two ex-wives who both accuse him of being physically violent with them. FBI was aware of the abuse allegations. Just last night Sanders and Kelly were both gushing praise about him.
The FBI blocked him from getting security clearance because of the charges.

On June 30, 2016, Strzok and Page exchanged texts about edits to Director Comey’s statement. Strzok texted, “K. Rybicki just sent another version.” Page responded, “Bill just popped his head in, hopefully to talk to him.” (“Bill” likely refers to Bill Priestap, Strzok’s boss). Strzok replied, “Hope so. Just left Bill. . . . He changed President to ‘another senior government official.’”72
In Comey’s final statement, even the reference to “another senior government official” might have been viewed as too incriminating, and it was stricken altogether.73
Section 793(f) prohibits having knowledge, and failing to report, the existence of national defense documents that are mishandled through gross negligence. The changes in Director Comey’s statement to delete the reference to President Obama—taken with the President’s April 10 statements about the investigation—raise questions about whether the FBI sought to downplay President Obama’s role or awareness of Secretary Clinton’s conduct.

Knives are coming out for Kelly. I suspect Javanka is behind this whisper campaign. The NYC riffraff crowd in Trumpworld hates him for cutting off their access to Trump.
Can't say that I like Kelly but he's been good for Trump, IMO. Maybe less so lately.
