When the Democrats first started talking about this Russia Conspiracy nonsense and then genuinely got invested in it, I thought that it was too good to be true. These people have constructed themselves an alternate reality in which Donald Trump was Vladmir Putin's Manchurian candidate. For well over a year, the instruments of the state and the media have been engaged in a desperate hunt to find evidence to corroborate this fantasy. They have doubled down on it at every opportunity, so profoundly that now there is no chance of the embarrassment ever getting memory-holed. (Bonus -- they have given us the opportunity to revisit the McCarthy era and talk about who the real conspirators with Russia were!)

Jesus, the Hillary campaign funded a oppo research document, using RUSSIAN SOURCES, compiled by a foreign spy, the 0bama Department of Justice used to obtain the ability to spy on the Trump campaign, in the attempt to rig an election, and then, with the appointment of a special prosecutor with no underlying crime, attempt to overthrow a democratically elected president.

"The Republican document mischaracterizes highly sensitive classified information that few members of Congress have seen, and which Chairman Nunes himself chose not to review. It fails to provide vital context and information contained in DOJ's FISA application and renewals, and ignores why and how the FBI initiated, and the special counsel has continued, its counterintelligence investigation into Russia's election interference and links to the Trump campaign."
The memo is fodder for the media frenzy, opium for the delusional Trumpanzees, and a big who cares about political fantasies for everyone else.
Let's see what life long, card carrying Republican and Bush Presidential appointee Robert Mueller finds. Poorly written fiction by Nunes carries no weight beyond entertainment value.“Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read.” - Groucho Marx
