All of this needs to be seen in the long term, the US economy has been near what's considered full employment since September 2015, but the wages have been frustratingly sticky. Bonuses are fine but let's see how median wages have climbed in a couple years. This kind of similar to the Bush years between 2005 to when the crash hit. It was basically full employment but the wages were stagnant, they almost got back to the 1998 high before crashing, they finally got past that 1998 high in 2016.
